MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES
for publication in the scientific journal “Bulletin of the S. Tentishev Asian International University”
- General Article Requirements
- Volume and Format
- Article volume: 8–12 A4 pages.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 14.
- Line spacing: 1.5.
- Margins: 2 cm on all sides.
- Text alignment: justified.
- Paragraph indent: 1.25 cm.
- Article Structure
The article must include the following sections:
- UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) code must be indicated in the top left corner.
- The following structural elements must be presented sequentially in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian, and English:
- Article Title (in uppercase letters, bold, centered).
- Author’s First and Last Name(s) (bold, centered).
- Affiliation and position, indicating academic degree (not bold, centered).
- Abstract (150–250 words). The word “Abstract” should be in bold, the abstract text – in regular font.
Abstract Requirements:
- The abstract must include:
- Research objective.
- Methods used in the study.
- Key results.
- Conclusions and their practical significance.
- Keywords (5–7 words or phrases).
- Main Text (IMRAD structure) in one of the three languages.
Contains the following structural elements:
- Introduction (relevance, research objective)
Relevance of the problem
Research objective
- Materials and Methods
Description of methods, materials, equipment, sample, etc.
- Results
Presentation of data obtained during the study.
- Discussion
Interpretation of results, their significance, comparison with other studies.
- Conclusion
Conclusions, practical significance, prospects for further research.
- References
Formatted according to the GOST R 7.0.100–2018 standard.
- Author Information must be provided at the end of the article in three languages.
- Full name of the author.
- Place of work (full name of the institution, city, country).
- Academic degree and title.
- Contact phone number.
- Email address (for editorial correspondence).
- 6. Internal Formatting
Tables:
- Must have a title.
- Must contain clearly marked columns and rows.
- Numbered in Arabic numerals (e.g., Table 1).
Figures, diagrams, graphs:
- Must be clear and have a caption (e.g., Figure 1).
- Captions are placed below the image.
- Formats: for photos and drawings — TIFF or JPEG; for graphs, charts, and diagrams — Excel or CDR.
Formulas:
- Must be created using a formula editor (e.g., Microsoft Equation).
- Numbered in Arabic numerals in parentheses to the right of the formula.
References to tables and figures:
- Must be indicated in the text at the relevant places (e.g., “see Table 1” or “see Figure 2”).
Conventional abbreviations and symbols:
- Must be explained in a footnote upon first mention.
- Ethical Requirements
- Originality
- The article must be original and not previously published.
- The acceptable level of similarity (text overlap) is no more than 10–15% (checked using software such as Antiplagiat.ru).
- Conflict of Interest
- Authors must confirm the absence of any conflicts of interest.
- Authorship
- All authors must have made a significant contribution to the research.
- Including individuals who did not participate in the work (guest authorship) is not permitted.
III. Additional Provisions
- Editorial Policy
The Editorial Board reserves the right to perform scientific and literary editing of articles.
Manuscripts are not returned.
- Article Rejection
Articles whose formatting does not meet the specified requirements will not be accepted for publication.
- Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the presented data.
Publication of an article does not mean that the Editorial Board shares all the positions stated by the author.
- Editorial Comments
Where necessary, the Editorial Board reserves the right to express its views on the problem in the form of a commentary.
- Submission and Review Process
- Article Submission
– Articles are accepted only via email: bakytbekjan@gmail.com
– The subject line of the email must state: “Article for publication in the ‘Bulletin of S.Tentishev AIU’ journal”.
The email must include the following attachments:
– Article text in Word format (.doc or .docx).
– Illustrative materials (if any) in a separate file.
– Author information.
- Review Timeline
The review process takes 2–4 weeks from the date of receipt.
Authors will be notified of the review results via email or WhatsApp.
- Review Process
- All articles undergo peer review.
- Reviewers evaluate scientific novelty, relevance, research quality, and compliance with the journal’s requirements.
- If revisions are required, authors receive the reviewers’ comments and a deadline for addressing them.
